Job Description: Maintenance Supervisor
A Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance-related matters within the hotel, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests and team members. This includes conducting daily maintenance checks, repairing equipment, and managing renovation projects.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing the hotel’s maintenance needs, conducting daily inspections, and handling mechanical repairs to ensure the highest standards of service for guests and team members. You will also be tasked with coordinating renovation projects and implementing emergency preparedness programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all maintenance activities within the hotel
- Conducting daily maintenance inspections throughout the property
- Carrying out lift emergency release procedures as necessary
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment
- Building strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Ensuring that all hotel fixtures and fittings are in safe condition and taking appropriate action if any issues arise
- Developing, implementing, and managing emergency programs
- Designing and managing energy conservation initiatives to reduce expenses
- Overseeing renovation bids, defining project scope and costs, and supervising contractors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective results
- Taking on special projects and additional responsibilities as required
- Ensuring the health and safety of hotel employees and guests
- Conducting monthly safety inspections and providing relevant training to team members
