Electrical Technician

• Must be able to gauge the trouble shooting approach and inform immediate supervisor about the job development and must have the ability to report and explain technical issues to onshore engineers or to vendors when required.
• Cross departments’ communication skills, team players attitude and effective cooperation with other offshore disciplines like Instrument, Mechanical, Construction and Operations to execute instrument jobs.
• Good skill in Fault-finding technique of all field Mechanical equipment’s in remote WHJ equipment.
  

Your Tasks

• Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards set by the company policies and procedures and contribute to this effort by ensuring that fellow workers and others have the same approach.
• Assist Electrical lead in planning, scheduling of works and support planning of major shutdown activities.
• Utilize and strictly follow Permit to Work system while carrying out any job on remote jackets.
• Direct hands on participation in executing day-to-day CM/PM, breakdown and shutdown jobs.
• Work with WHM Maintenance team (Instrument, Mechanical) & Operations to improve knowledge and skill.
• Participate in accident / incident investigation and report all incidents / near misses to supervisor / HES advisor.
• Responsible to update all PM and CM work order in SAP system after completing maintenance activities.
• Participate in SOC and Audit programs and participate in Hadaf zero program to achieve zero reportable incidents and spills
  

Your Profile

• This position requires a minimum educational background of two years studies on technical electrical subjects for industrial applications. Diploma in electrical engineering from a recognized institute.
• Minimum of Five years relevant hands on experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Good communication skills (including – Radio communication)
  • Mature temperament and high integrity
  • Tact, confidentiality and diplomacy.
