Job Description

This position is responsible for delivering a friendly, fast, accurate, and efficient food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained according to our guests’ expectations.

Speciality Waiter/Waitress – French Brasserie

• To welcome, smile, and greet our guests.
• Suggest and professionally upsell food and beverage products.
• To serve all our guests and colleagues with fast, efficient, and accurate service.
• Attend and accommodate guests’ reasonable requests and ensure all queries are responded to promptly and on time.
• To be knowledgeable about the menu and information about the food and beverage offerings available to answer guests’ questions.
• Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately.
• Ensure efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained.
• Set up, clear, and promptly service tables after use to ensure that guests can be seated promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or a degree in Food & Beverage
• Previous experience in a five-star hospitality
• Knowledge about the Point-of-Sale System
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Basic Food Safety Certificate
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
